Studio M. was originally founded by Michael Brewster, a restorer with over 15 years experience in the poster industry. After studying fine art at the University of Western Sydney and later the College of Fine Arts Sydney, he spent 8 years working in New York City, managing some of the city’s largest poster restoration studios and vintage poster galleries. In 2008, Michael returned to Sydney to establish Studio M., the only studio specialising in vintage poster restoration in Australia. In 2017, Studio M. relocated from its original home in Sydney to Melbourne under the management of Hanna and her team.
